This is basically a trek taken by local people for its religious significance. The circumambulation of this hill, Drilburi meaning Bell, is done because Guru Ghantapa, one of the 84 Sidhhas of Buddhism attained Siddhi at this place. Gaddis believe this place to be the seat of Lord Shiva and Parvati. They believe Lord Shiva married Parvati at, this hill and from here both of them went to Mani Mahesh. In between the rocks near the pass, a yellow stratum of rocks is visible which is believed to be the path of Lord Shiva.
